will it pass?
is it just a growing up phase? am i being over sensitive that i feel he's distancing himself from me? every single thing the other siblings do, will end up making him irritated and angry..but why? it's like everyone in the house is an enemy to him..it's really a difficult moment for me..ya Allah give me Your Guidance and make it easy for me to go thru this obstacle..will this fade away any sooner?

hebe
hebe's been my best friend since school re-opened..talking to her and feeding her has been a daily routine for me..even for the kids..hebe will be the first they'll greet each time before they left for school..with baby carrots in hand, they never fail to feed hebe before leaving..the same goes after returning home..

i swear i never thought buying carrots, feeding and talking to hebe can be therapeutic..i enjoy what i'm doing, so much so i 'neglected' my friends..no fon calls..no sms..no emails..i kinda like this 'lonely' feelings of not having any friends around lately..i don't know y..but i miss them though..

but well, yeah, i have hebe, my neighbour's rabbit..but hebe's a lil quiet today...i wonder if she's sick? she didn't eat much today and just kept quiet when the kids stroke her head..hope she'll be fine tomorrow..
that 'i-just-wanna-be-alone' feelings had passed.. opening up a new site for my small time home biz has definitely made me bz bz bz..alhamdulillah, thank you Allah..but where r all my gd frenz?

Du'a For The People Of Gaza : Sheikh Mishary Al-Afasy

:'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Allah is sufficient for us
He is the best disposer of affairs
Oh Magnificient, oh Honoured one
Save the muslims of Gaza
Oh Allah save the muslims of Gaza
Oh Allah, be for them a Guardian and helper
Our Lord, strong are those who are near to You
Glorious is Your praise
And sanctified are Your names
Oh Allah no one can abolish Your command
And no one can defeat Your army
Praise and glory to You
Oh Allah to You the jews are evil doers
Oh Allah Revealer of the Book
Mover of the clouds
Defeater of the armies
Crush them down and shatter them
Oh Allah show us in them signs of Your might
Murderers of the Messengers and Prophets
Tyrants of the innocents
Oh Allah free the muslims of Gaza
Oh Magnificient, oh Honoured one
Oh Allah loose their chains
Heal their sickness
And uncover their torture
Oh Allah replace their fear with safety
Oh Magnificient oh Honoured one
Oh Allah strengthen Islam and the muslimeen
Lower the shirk and mushrikeen
Destroy the enemies of the religion
And protect the territories of Islam
And unite the word of the muslims in truth, oh Lord of the worlds
Oh Allah save the weak and powerless of the muslimeen everywhere
Oh Allah improve the situation of the muslimeen in Palestine, Iraq and everywhere
Oh Allah bring together their hearts
Guide them on the path of peace
And lead them from darkness into light
Oh Magnificient oh Honoured one..

hope for Gaza: prayers for Peace & Mercy
received this via email from islamictube.net .. read on..
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Assalamu Alaikum waRahmatullahi waBarakatuh

We are all aware of the suffering our brothers and sisters in Palestine have endured over the last 60 years. The situation has now escalated to crisis point, and over 400 have been killed, not to mention the thousands who have been injured both physically and mentally with the unjust torture they have witnessed. We've conducted rally's, wrote to the organisations that are in positions of power, and signed endless petitions….Unfortunately, our efforts demanding justice have been ignored.

As Muslims we are aware that only Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) can help us in times of need, when we have been ignored by organisations that can make changes, when our efforts are fruitless, what do we do? We turn to Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala!!)

This is a plea to all Muslims out there, to unite, to stand together and pray for our brothers and sisters in Palestine. We cannot disregard the power of dua, and in times like this, when we feel we have little or no control, we can turn to The One who has All Control and Power.

We have decided to call for the following campaign, to coincide with the current month of Muharram that we are in and the day of Ashura. This campaign will require two days of your time and for all who can participate, here are the requirements:
  • To fast for the 9th and 10th of Muharram
  • To stand in Qiyam ul Layl (Night Prayer) on the night of the 9th and 10th of Muharram

If you cannot do the full two days, then please do what you can, even if it's just an hour of 'Ibadah. We must remember that our fasting and praying (as with all forms of 'Ibadah) are done for the pleasure of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) and for Him alone. However, the virtues of the dua of a fasting person, and the dua of one who has forsaken their sleep have been highlighted in the following hadith:

The Messenger of Allah (sallahu alayhi wa sallam) said; Three supplications will not be rejected (by Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala)), the supplication of the parent for his child, the supplication of the one who is fasting, and the supplication of the traveler. [al-Bayhaqi, at-Tirmidhi - Sahih]

Abu Hurairah (radiuallahu anhu) narrated that Allah's Messenger (sallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: 'In the last third of every night our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) (Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) descends to the lower-most heaven and says; "Who is calling Me, so that I may answer him? Who is asking Me so that may I grant him? Who is seeking forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him?"' [Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith Qudsi]

We sincerely ask for the Ummah to do what they can, there are many of us, and together we CAN make a difference, we can make a CHANGE. Let's show others how we conduct ourselves in hard times, how we show patience and perseverance, and most importantly, how we unite in times of hardship.

The Messenger of Allah (sallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "Believers are like a structure, parts of which support one another. The believers, in regard to mutual love, affection, fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any limb of it aches, the whole body aches, because of sleeplessness and fever." [Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim]

Please circulate this email to your friends, family, to local Masjids, College/Universities, and Community Centre's etc... Let's make this a collective effort.

Insha'Allah we are successful in our efforts. May Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) help all the Muslims who are suffering around the world, may He listen to our sincere duas and forgive us of our sins. Ameen.

her 1st day as an irsyadian
alhamdulillah everything went well..her 1st day of school was indeed great despite "kakak takot arr nanti mama takda" =) ..she took the school bus with adek this morning and was so disappointed with the fact that "kakak tak nampak mama bila kakak reach school" ...both the sec & pri students had already assembled the moment hubby & myself reached school...many areas in the school compound were out of bound to parents..even the canteen..and yes parents were not allowed to be in the canteen during recess..
anyhow, we saw kakak while all the p1 students were walking up the stairs to their respective classes..she was all smiles once she saw us =) .. the other time that we got to see her was after their recess, where the p1 and their p6 buddies were assembling at the void deck below the canteen..hubby left for work soon after and i decided to make a move a while later..
once the school bus reached our place, kakak had so much to tell me the moment she alighted the bus..she looked happy and far from being restless alhamdulillah..school had been fun indeed! well of course la "kakak dapat goody bag!!" =)

her transition
i would be lying if i say i'm not at all worried for kakak... come tomorrow, she'll be starting her primary education..from being in a comfortable zone of 3hr in pre school to a restless 8hr full time madrasah...it really is scary when she said " nak buat apa sey lama2 pat skolah?" though she's equally excited about being in p1..she really needs time to adjust herself to a totally different environment..i hope everything's gonna be alright for her, and that she'll have a very good start in the year 2009 insyaAllah..
